ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): LUKE 24:1-9

MESSAGE TOPIC: THE MESSAGE OF THE RESURRECTION

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding the message/revelation that the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus brings

Every situation in life arrives with a revelation; everything is saying something (Ps. 19:2; Jer. 18:1-2)

There is a message in every misery or mess of life

THE MESSAGE OF THE RESURRECTION:1. God is the 

God of Love (John 3:16)

To know God is to know Love; to walk with God is to walk with Love

2. God will stop at nothing to get His Will or Plan fulfilled (Rom. 8:32) 

There is nothing too much for God to give up in order to bring to pass His plan

3. God is the God of the second chance (Rom. 3:23; 6:23; Col. 1:27)

God gave man a second chance after Adam fell in the garden

God gave Jesus a second chance when He raised Him from the dead

4. God is the God of new beginnings (2 Cor. 5:17)

God gave human beings a second chance through Redemption

At Redemption, the natural life ends and the supernatural life begins

5. God is the God of all possibilities (Col. 2:14-15; Mark 10:27) 

Bringing Jesus Christ from the dead shows the possibilities of God

God can do, undo, overdo, extra do, supra do and mega do!

6. God is the God of no limitations (Isa. 43:13)

When God gets ready to move nothing can stop Him

7. God is the God of drastic and dramatic surprises (John 3:8; 1 Cor. 2:6-8) 

Nobody knows where God is coming from and where He is going! 

8. God is the God Who uses His enemies to fulfil His purpose without their permission (1 Cor. 2:6-8; Rom. 8:28)

There are times God will make those who think they are working against you to effectively work for you

9. God is the God Whose Plans and Purpose are never at the mercy of the plots and agenda of the enemy (Isa. 54:17; Prov. 19:21)

10. God is the God Who does His best after the enemy has done his worst (Dan. 3:26-30; 6:23-28)

He is the God Who totally wipes out the record of the enemy’s activity as though it never existed

Before promotion there in normally commotion

11. God is the God Who is committed to His Divine purpose and prophetic Word (Isa. 46:10; John 2:19; Mark 14:58)

Before Jesus died, He knew the purpose of God and kept on speaking it

Never be afraid of saying what God said and repeating what God has released

The Truth will always defeat any lie any day

God will only fulfil what has been spoken; if you want God to fulfil it then say it to His hearing (Num. 14:28)

12. God is the God of complete and surpassing restoration (Rom. 3:23; Col. 1:27; Job 42:10; John 20:19, 26; Luke 5:6; 21:11)

When they crucified Jesus, they took the natural life but God restored to Him a supernatural life

Before the resurrection, Jesus passed through the door, after the resurrection He passed through the wall

Before the resurrection, Jesus made Peter catch fish and the net broke, but after the resurrection He made Peter catch fish and the net could not break!

13. God is the God of awesome deliverance and rescue (Ps. 16:8-11; Acts 2:25-28)

He is the One Who delivers at the nick of time; there is nowhere and no situation that God cannot bring you out of

14. God is the All-powerful, Omnipotent God Whose power is superior to every power of hell (John 1:5)

Light is stronger than darkness, Love is stronger than hate; never be afraid of any power if you are connected to the Almighty

OUR RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Surrender completely to Jesus Christ (John 3:3,5-6)

2. Live in the newness of life (Rom. 6:4)

3. Live for Him (2 Cor. 5:15)

Live to give, love for soul-winning, live for His assignment and you will see Him at work in your life

4. See yourself seated in High places in Christ (Eph. 2:5-6)

See yourself far above principalities and powers 

PRAYERS

Father, thank You for Your Word to us today. To You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus’ Name. 

Father, today, I make demands on the power of resurrection in my life. Father, prove to me 

that You are the God of resurrection; prove it in my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, I ask that You will show forth Your resurrection power in my life in this resurrection season, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, I ask that Your resurrection power will give me a new beginning, and cause surprises to happen in my life; let this resurrection season take the devil by surprise in my life Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

COMMUNION FOCUS:

- Resurrection Communion – healings, deliverances, breakthroughs will take place and 

everything dead in your life will come alive.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

- What the Lord is about to do in this season in your life and in the Church of God, no power of hell can stop it!

- Everything the devil ever tried to do against you, in this season, the devil shall regret!

- Every conspiracy against your life, family and against this nation is turning around in our favour!

- God will not rest until everything God has said about your life comes to pass!

- Everywhere the devil has kept you and kept your destiny, you are coming out now!

- In this season that we are in, you will experience the love of God like never before!

- Your God and my God is about to show your world His love for your life!

- Everything standing in the way of God concerning His plan and purpose for your life is about to be moved out of the way!

- The God of the second chance is about to give you a second chance!

- The God of the new beginnings is giving you a new beginning!

- The God of all possibilities is giving you a new opportunity!

- In this season of resurrection, God is not just going to take those who hate you by surprise, he is also going to take you by surprise by what He will do in your life!

- God is about to use the devil and his agents to bring His purpose for your life and destiny to pass!

- Everything the devil has stolen in your life, get ready for total restoration!

- Wherever you’ve found yourself, God is about to bring you out!

- You shall experience the superior power of Jehovah in this season!

- Every power of hell monitoring your life to hinder and resist, today they are sent back to hell!

- This shall be confirmed the best resurrection Sunday and celebration of your life!
