Disney lovers, Disney has officially introduced a new princess, the very first Latina princess with Elena of Avalor. The character will be introduced in 2016 on the Disney Junior show "Sofia the First".

Elena is described as "a confident and compassionate teenager in an enchanted fairy tale kingdom inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore." The character is set to be voiced by Aimee Carrero of ABC Family's "Young & Hungry". After debuting in a special episode of "Sofia the First" on Disney Junior, Princess Elena will get her own spin-off series that same year.
