YEPAYEYE THE COOK OF THE SOUL'S AND BODY'S FOOD
Faced with the challenges of raising six children ALL ALONE and providing for their feeding, clothing and educational needs, Yepayeye went seeking paid employment. At Itokopiri boarding school, in Ogbia Local Government Area, where she was lucky to be employed as a cook, Yepayeye became the cook who cooked food for the stomach of multitudes of children and provided needed moral upbringing and psychological support for the many children away from their parents. Yepayeye's kind-heartedness and love for the pupils still remains an indelible memory in the men and women she served and mentored while they were students. She cooked food that fed the pupils and spiritual food that moulded them into better individuals.
