A PAINFUL LOSS
Like all mortals, Yepayeye went through pains. In all the pains she suffered in life, the most excruciating and devastating was the untimely death of her eldest daughter, Sarah Suam Robert in 2006. Burying her in her prime was so devastating to Yepayeye. Sarah Suam was the pillar of strength and companionship in Yepayeye’s days of toil and emotional turmoil from her broken marriage. Suam worked tirelessly with her mother to keep her happy and carry on. That pain inflicted by the death of Suam on Yepayeye, however, renewed her faith in God and made her work tirelessly for HIM till her last day.
