SUNDAY SERMON: The Power And The Potency Of The Blessing

TEXT: GENESIS 12:1-3

Abraham was a stranded struggler and a nonentity picked up by God and turned into a trans-generational wonder today. What we don’t we understand we antagonize and undermine. The power of the blessing is one of the most powerful forces on earth. Virtue answers to value… anywhere virtue is not delivered, virtue is not discerned.

5 FACTS OF THE BLESSING
1) The blessing is stronger and older than the curse. Before any curse ever manifested, the blessing existed.

2) The blessing is irreversible and irrevocable except where the conditions are discarded. No witch or wizard can reverse the blessing.

3) The blessing is trans-generational. Whatever blessing God places on your life leaves a great impact on your children.

4) The blessing is invokable through utterance or words of the custodians or channels of the blessing. You don’t need anything extra to get the blessing. all you need is the right word. Never play with the words of the carrier of the blessing.

5) The blessing NEVER leaves a person the same way h/she is. You cannot connect with the blessing and remain the same.


WHAT POWER AND POTENCY DOES THE BLESSING CARRY?
1) The blessing is a ground softening supernatural shower. The blessing forbids labouring on hard grounds of life and destiny. Genesis 26:1, Genesis 26:12. For the blessed man/woman, there’s no hard ground.

2) The blessing is a supernatural transformer of life and destiny. Supernatural upgrader of life. The blessing is a supernatural capacity enlarger. It makes an insignificant person into a voluminous entity. Genesis 32:26-28.

3) The blessing is a supernatural life enhancer. Psalm 133:1-3. The blessing is a container of life. It enhances both the quality/standard of life and quantity/longevity. Proverbs 10:22.

4) The blessing is a supernatural empowerment unto possessions. Deuteronomy 33:23, Obadiah 1:17.

KEYS TO THE BLESSING

1) Obedience to God in lifestyle, character and instructions.

2) Being a blessing begin with faithfully paying of tithe, free will offering, kingdom seeds etc. Malachi 3:10

3) Consecration. Genesis 32:29, Genesis 12:1. Separate yourself… don’t cut corners like the unbelievers.

4) Faith. Galatians 3:9
