EU Referendum: IN Or OUT???

"Today's a new day. It's your day. You shape it. Don't let it be shaped by someone else's ignorance or fear" -Steve Maraboli.

The EU referendum takes place today, Thursday, 23rd June 2016. It's a day where the UK will know their fate whether they are to remain as a member of the European Union or leave the European Union. The Polling stations are already opened for voting. A polling station somewhere in the South-East is witnessing a very low turnout as of this morning due to the bad weather. I have asked some citizens who are eligible to vote if they would vote. Few said that they can't be bothered while most said that they would be at the polling station voting their hearts out, rain or not.

I asked Mr Paul Smith a British citizen to share his views on the EU referendum.  According to Mr Paul smith "Staying in the EU cost UK 8.5 billion pounds a year. Although, there's also free trade between member states which is an advantage of staying in the EU. However, there's a problem of mass migration from EU member states considering there's also immigration from outside the EU. This puts a strain on public services like housing, healthcare, education etc. So, my opinion is for us to Leave."

The BBC, ITV and Sky are all covering the election, bringing you the results as and when they come in.

Please, vote wisely because the outcome may affect your life!
