This show is part of an African tour organised by the Institut français Paris. After performing in Dakar, Antananarivo and Cape Town, ‘TORDRE’ is coming to Abuja for the last performance of the tour.
TORDRE is a portrait of two African women created by the French-Algerian, Rachid Ouramdane, one of the most talented contemporary dance choreographers and also co- director of the CCN2- Centre chorégraphique national de Crenoble. He is at the forefront of dance innovation, redefining performance and choreography and blurring the line between dance and documentary. Through the art of dance, he aims to contribute to social debates with the the help of choreographic pieces that develop a poetic of testimony.
The performance will be followed by a discussion with the artists and a cocktail to give the audience the opportunity to interact with the artists.
