And the winner is… Miss Nebraska, Sarah Rose Summers, a registered nurse, beauty and brain, beat Miss North Carolina and Miss Nevada to win the coveted crown. And as soon as she was given her crown and bouquet of flowers, she broke down in tears. Then, she confidently strutted back and forth on stage as she waved to those in the audience.
After the questions asked, Miss Nebraska, Miss North Carolina and Miss Nevada emerged as top three. Each contestant were asked the same question.
After evening gown, Miss Nevada, Miss Florida, Miss Nebraska, Miss North Carolina and South Dakota emerged as Top 5. They were asked questions, three eventually sailed through to the next round.
