Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, 75, recently faced a backlash on social media following remarks he made after a keynote speech about the nation's youth at a Commonwealth event in London.

In his reply, the president said:

"We have a very young population. More than 60% of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them haven't been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil-producing country, therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare, education free."

Many Nigerians inferred from the comments that he was branding the nation's youth as lazy.

A resilience Nigerian youth, Mbaka Ugochukwu, 23, the founder of Mupocycle Resource Market, a waste management company in Nigeria has spoken in favour of the Nigerian youths. He said:

'The Nigerian youths are not slouching, they are working extremely Hardworking and creative but are despondent because the government has failed them in ways unimaginable
He later shared more light in a Video about African Entrepreneurs below:

What do you think? are Nigerian youths lazy?
