President Goodluck Jonathan will visit the National Headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at 2pm today where he would be received at the PDP Headquarters by the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu, its National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha and other members of the PDP National Working Committee to make the stipulated payment and collect the PDP’s expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2015 presidential elections.
President Jonathan had received from a spectrum of Nigerians, amounts totaling N98.66 million as donations to help him pay the required N22 million for the PDP presidential nomination fee and expression of interest form.
Mr president has since thanked all the persons, groups and communities who had contributed funds for the forms and his coming campaign expenses. He also acknowledged other donors who had sent in their contributions since the initial list was published yesterday. See list below:
