From L-R, Saudi Arabia's King Salman and President Obama |
A GEM-ENCRUSTED horse sculpture worth a whooping sum of $523,000 tops the list of gifts President Barack Obama received from foreign leaders last year, according to documents released by the State Department last night.
The present that is getting people talking, from Saudi Arabia's King Salman, was given to Obama in September last year. It was made from gold-plated sterling silver, diamonds, tsavorites, yellow sapphires, rubies and obsidian mounted on a rotating, piano-black lacquer base.
