An unholy row erupted after a church banned yoga from its premises because it is ‘non Christian’. According to Senior Christian clerics; “yoga which is linked to Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism might be seen to be in conflict with Christian virtues and beliefs. ”
Hmmm….
Residents in West Wales are spitting fire as they have sworn and vowed by their ancestors to boycott a new church hall if the ban is enforced after church chief’s unveiled plans to convert part of the said church in the village, into a much- needed community center.
But the the parochial church council ruled the building must not be used for ‘non-Christian activities’ like: Yoga, Tai Chi, Taekwondo, Cash prize bingo etc.
