Simple Ways To Know When You Are Ovulating.

Not all women ovulate every month but the the ability to know when you are ovulating is
essential in order to become pregnant, avoid pregnancy or to understand your body in general.

Here are some simple ways to know when you are ovulating in order to understand your body and reproductive system.

  • Abdominal cramps. For some women, ovulation triggers mild abdominal cramps.
  • Change in vaginal secretions. Just before ovulation, you might notice an increase in clear, slippery vaginal secretions — if you look for it. These secretions typically resemble raw egg whites. After ovulation, when the odds of becoming pregnant are slim, the discharge will become cloudy and thick or disappear entirely.
  • Change in body temperature. Your body's temperature at rest (basal body temperature) might increase slightly during ovulation.
  • Breast tenderness.
  • Increased libido.
  • Increased energy level.
  • Water retention.
  • Vision, smell and taste become heightened.
